Blackmore’s Night
Blackmore’s Night is the unique musical Renaissance/Folk/Rock project of legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore (of Deep Purple and Rainbow fame) and award winning singer/songwriter Candice Night with their band of minstrels. The band has created their own genre of music, encompassing the melodies of Renaissance times, European Folk and adapting them to the modern era. They have captured the romance, passion and chivalry of the time period and have become synonymous with “fantasy” music.
Ritchie is master of the acoustic guitar, mandolin, mandola, and of course, the Stratocaster. Candice Night, as the lead vocalist, also performs on Renaissance woodwinds. The musical diversity of their talented band members adds a whole variety of instrumentation and festivity to their concerts. Enjoy masterful Renaissance Rock music at its majestic best!
